Survey, construction and engineering firms send us scan data of real buildings and real sites. This page says plainly how we handle it.
Where your data sits
Scan data you send us is processed and hosted on the Benaco platform. SurveySync3D is an official Benaco partner and delivers processing, enrichment and support on top of it. Your data stays inside that platform. We do not copy it elsewhere.
Access
Every tour is shared by link, with view or edit permission set per recipient. You control who holds a link and you can revoke access. Inside SurveySync3D, only the people working on your project can open your data.
In transit and at rest
All traffic to this site and to hosted tours runs over HTTPS with TLS. Stored scan data sits on the Benaco platform's managed cloud storage, encrypted at rest by the provider.
What we do not do with your data
We do not use client scan data to train machine learning models. We do not share it with any third party beyond delivering your project. We do not sell it.
Deletion
Tell us to delete a dataset and we delete it. Your contract sets the standing retention period, and we delete on request once a project closes.
Compliance and procurement
We answer security questionnaires, sign data processing agreements, and provide detail on the underlying platform's controls on request. Email jh@surveysync3d.com and we will complete your documentation properly.
Reporting a problem
Found a vulnerability, or think data has been exposed? Email jh@surveysync3d.com with the detail. We will acknowledge within one business day.
